We arrived on Maui, and what a difference 10 years has made. The last time I was here it was a little rental lot and now, its like you arrived at LAX. You get off the plane, and there are people everywhere now. Its like Maui turned into a mecca for Covid crazed vacationers.
We had to take a train to the rental car area and when we walked in – here is what it looked like…
…throngs of humanity everywhere. It took almost as long to get our car as it did to fly here.
Finally! After an hour or more of standing there… we did get our car and then we were off to Costco to buy wine… We really needed it – after all this.
Chickens in the parking lot… i wonder if that’s the secret to the $5 buck roasted chickens they sell. Chickens eat the scraps, and then we eat the chickens. Yum.
Off to the Grand Wailea about a 30 minute drive from here – and then we will open the wine and begin the Honeymoon fun.
