The rings turned out great… the diamond even glows in the dark (seriously – it does)

The rings…the rings, its all about the rings

We embarked upon the process of picking out the rings together. Visited jewelry stores, asked about custom designs and then finally settled on James Allen as the jeweler.

How did they turn out? Take a look…

How is it possible for a diamond to glow in the dark? Its not just luminescence (that bluish tint in UV light – which most diamonds are) its phosphorescent – meaning it literally GLOWS in the dark. Only a teeny-tiny fraction of diamonds are… like .001% (that’s one in a million). Rare indeed.
This is a poor photo but is the diamond pic was taken in near total darkness… sometimes it glows orange, sometimes red… and like the “mood rings” from the 70’s even blue (wierd huh?). It looks like Jeanne has a cig in hand and its very visible in even near dark circumstances. We are still studying it and trying to understand how its all possible.
