Road To Hana – Part 2

We arrive in Hana Town - Here is what we did.

We made it. It was a 4 hour trek of non-stop beauty and the smell of white ginger waffling in the air. We passed though Hana town which is really a post office, a gas station and of course Hasagawa’s the general store.

Then we check into the Hana-Maui hotel, which is the biggest employer (owned by Hana Ranch – just recently acquired by Hyatt resorts).  We have a bungalow right on the cliffs overlooking the ocean and next door to the famous red sand beach. And here is our view from the deck. We slept out here our first night. It was heavenly listening to the ocean surf all night long. I forgot how powerful and hypnotic it is.

and this is what we experienced while sleeping out on the deck.. A full moon – glowing over the ocean. Like a dream it was, this Honey-“moon”.

…and we woke to this view in the morning.

On our way to Eden Sanctuary we stopped at Hana Bay…
