The Grand Wailea and Getting Laid (ooops spelled Lei’d)

We arrived and both got lai’d by the gal at the front desk. Actually Dane got the kokui nut necklace and Jeanne got the traditional flower lai… but it was just the beginning of what was to be a wonderful first night.

Suite 9124: The bell-hop delivers our luggage to our luxury suite on the 9th floor overlooking the resort and the ocean. Here is what that looked like and what happened next…

Before we jump up to our 2000 square foot suite, here are some videos of the lobby (which is stunning).

Stunning plants in the lobby.. here are a few clips
the amazing view from the lobby

Now – Let’s Head Up To The Honeymoon Suite

We had an amazing suite… 3 balcony’s, a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, and bath suite all with stunning ocean views…. AND the sound of surf lulling us to sleep. And later that night we went down to the beach and lay on the sand and looked up at the stars. (sorry no pics of that event – private)

Here are a handful of pics.

Will post more on this later. Jeanne just got into the tub and I don’t want to miss what’s next.

It is a Honeymoon after all.

P.S. While we were in the bath together…. this is what was happening down below. A luau. We will be attending Thursday, but these are pics from our balcony on the 9th floor….

Tipping a glass of red to the many blessings of our life

Cheers To All
